For the life of me I cannot understand why you would post a screenshot of
the error message, when you've typed it below in your post and I can read
that just fine.

This is the third attachment we've had in here today. I realize that the MS
newsgroup web interface has a space for attachments, but it shouldn't. I
also realize that you probably don't know any better than to attach files,
and I'm sure you have no idea why this would irritate people, but I am going
to tell you anyway.

1. There are too many viruses out there for me to chance opening *any* file
posted to a newsgroup. It could be infected and you the original poster
might not even be aware of it.

2. Many people pay for their dialup connections by the minute. Your
attachment costs them money.

3. Many people block posts with attachments. So by attaching a file, you're
denying yourself much of the assistance you seek because fewer people will
see your post.

That said, let me reiterate that your message below covered the error just
fine.

You said,
> "Powerpoint found an error that it can't correct. You
> should save presentations, quit, and then restart
> PowerPoint."

That's all I need. See http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/FAQ00220.htm toward
the bottom of the page.
