I read on a wesbite that RMS supports the Ingenico PX328 PC-EFTPOS enabled
Pinpads. I ordered one from ANZ in Australia and configured the supplied
PC-EFTPOS software. This works fine but I can't get RMS to see the PinPad.
I've followed the Microsoft article for the Ingenico 3010 but it doesn't
work. The test button gives Access Denied. I think the terminal is actually
a newer PX368.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

Do I have to write my own code to link RMS with PC-EFTPOS or should it all
integrate?

Mick,

What does ANZ say?

I saw this on another website too, try them maybe?

ANZ say see your IT department, which is me. They have no idea about RMS.
The link you supplied is the one that prompted me to try the integration in
the first place and I've emailed the company. I've also been told you can buy
an addin for Australian EFT for $400. The PC EFTPOS software has a fully
exposed object model with code samples so I think I'll write my own addin.

Thanks again for your quick replies.

Hi Mick

Please allow me to introduce myself, my name is Russell Hatter I work with
POS Partners in Australia. We look after the RMS Partner community on behalf
of Microsoft.

With regards to your query you will indeed require an add-in for the
Ingenico terminals and PC-EFTPOS to integrate or 'talk' with RMS. On this
point you have the option of purchasing the add-on module from your RMS
reseller or you may wish to write your own code.

POS Partners provides our resellers the opportunity to offer the Retail
Realm Tender module which integrates with PC-EFTPOS in Australia for a very
competitive price. If you wish to find out more please contact me at
rus...@pospartners.com.au

Kind Regards,
