We are no longer able to store customer credit card numbers because our third
party Credit Card Containment Company is not PCI compliant.

Does anyone know of any companies that are PCI compliant. Also, is there any
other way of storing customers information without involving a third party?

You are correct you can no longer store credit cards in your store
unless you have a higher level of PCI compliance than most wine stores
would be willing to go through. We had the same issue in our wine
stores at The Greene Grape. Customers LOVE it when you store their
card and know their purchase history in the wine retail business.

The only people that can store credit cards are PCI level 1 compliant
processors like internet gateways and the like.

Check out ShopKeep.com for credit card storage. It is fully PCI
compliant and in use in several wine stores.
