With POS2009 running under WinXP Pro, we have installed the required USB
serial driver to allocate the display to COM7. We have also configured the
OPOS driver using the supplied OPOS Setup application to represent the
display as FTLD (with the appropriate COM port etc). This allows us to test
and verify the display is correctly configured and working using the OPOS
Test utilities. However when we select the FTLD device for use with the till
in MS POS2009, the application crashes with an exception error in the
Windows/System 32/FTLDSO.DLL.
