Hi all,

Any idea or anyone has used this before? Also any comment would help a great
deal.

Thanks!

They seem to be quite popular in Europe, but they take a lot of memory.
Turns your pocket pc into a gprs navigation device.

I've also seen industrial uses for this. people using them to plot planting
and harvest information on large wheat farms, delivery vehicles, all kinds
of stuff.

We're confusing GPS and GPRS here. If you're referring to the Compaq
Wireless GSM/GPRS Phone Jacket it was a bit of a white elephant, clunky
software, buggy and bulky. GPS Devices however are becoming increasingly
popular for navigation, the software does not have heavy memory requirements
but do require large amounts of storage for maps, normally this is provided
by a CF or SD Card.

Its a cheap alternative to a WDA or XDA :)
A good device to have, but tooooooooo bulky.

Few friend in Indonesia used to own it and now selling it off as they are
moving to J928.

I guess you should consider o2 XDA and HP J928 before buying it.

I have one of the GPRS phone sleeves and it is not all that great. I am
waiting for the next version of the iPAQ to come out this will have the
intergrated GSM/GPRS so there will be no need for the bulky sleeve..
