Greetings! Say I just found out I can change my Theme on the PDA of Windows
mobile 2003 (I have a Toshiba e755).
I just downloaded Windows theme generator (says it works for Windows 202).
Will it work to create themes for Windows Mobile 2003? Anyone have any
advice, suggestions, encouragement? I would appreciate it. I tried
looking into the Toshiba owners manual...but found nothing on the changing
of themes...also, can I change it back if I do not like it? Is it hard to
change themes? Please advise. Thanks

The Theme Generator 2 does create themes just fine for PPC 2003 devices,
though there are some capabilities it doesn't support. I would recommend
NOT letting the final step load the theme you created onto the PPC. Just
save it on your PC and copy it to the PPC with Active Sync Explore. You can
put themes (the .tsk files) into your My Documents folder (not in a
subdirectory though I don't believe) or into the Windows directory on the
PPC.

When you load the Theme Generator, it will load or offer to load a Theme
Switcher App. Didn't work on my 2003 device(s), so don't bother loading it
IMHO. Changing themes is easy. Just open settings, and click the Today
control panel icon. The themes that the OS finds on yor machine will be
listed. Select one and close. To change back, just do it again, and select
the original or another. There are tons of cool screens available on the
net as well as theme rotators. Google for them or try your favorite
software source.
