I dont want my PPC to connect using GPRS at all.. How can I do this? I
might want to do it in an emergency but it connects every now and then
to synchronise which I dont want it to do....
Please help..
Try setting up a "bogus" gprs login with bad username and password and
making that the default gprs connection... for a couple of months, when
gprs tried to connect using that, it would fail... but somebody changes
something somewhere a couple of months ago.

Ahhh... the missing step was to fill in an "AccessPoint" value in
addition to the steps I tried and posted here aug 18/19 of last year...
and, while they worked for several months, a couple of months ago, the
gprs was able to connect by itself with no changes in the connection setup.
Just added an "Access Point" value to the connection and that drove
another stake through it's heart.
