Hi NG,

I have an IPAQ 3630 with a wl100 (wireless pcmcia card). I have installed
the card and connected to our wireless LAN. How can I configure the device
to connect to the internet across the network. The ipaq is set to "server
assigned IP address". I have only wins & dhcp on our network.

How should I configure the ipaq?

How can i determine the IP address assigned to the ipaq?

Thanks,

Jago Taylor

One thing you could try is to look on your DHCP server to see if you can
determine what IP address is assigned to the Pocket PC. You may have to
look at the MAC address of your card to help. Once you have the IP address,
you can try and ping it from another PC.

I am using another WLAN card and wasn't able to get anything to work using
DHCP. So I manually assigned an IP address and was able to connect to the
network and everything else.

Good luck.
