MobileTimes announces the release of its fully automatic music search and
retrieval utility FlashHarvester for Windows-based Mobile Devices.
MusicHarvester scours the Internet for music hosting sites and downloads
songs the user is interested in. All download links to songs are
validated. Users can search for music either by All Words, Any Words, or
Exact Phrase search term. Any number of search requests can be made at
once. Search and retrieval of songs occurs asynchronously. The user can
decide to retrieve either links to songs, previews of songs, or full song
downloads. All searches are automatically saved to an offline database.
Similar, all downloaded songs, or their previews are stored either to the
device or an optional flash card. In case of preview downloads, the user
can specify the length of the downloaded preview. Of course, individual
searches can be customized by various parameters allowing multiple searches
in parallel.
Downloaded results can be played-back offline. The user again has the
choice to peruse the search results either by links, previews of songs, or
full song downloads.
A Multi-Lingual User Interface to over 140 languages is available.
Support exists for Windows Mobile 5.0 & 6.x for the PocketPC/Professional
and SmartPhone/Standard platforms. Released as shareware.
