wonder if anyone can help me with a problem i'm having with the
wireless connection on a symbol mc70 device?
i've setup a connection to a wireless point (and have tested this
connection with my laptop ok) and the device is showing me a full
green bar in the bottom right. the status says the connection is
excellent.
but, when i'm trying to access a website (i.e. google) in internet
explorer, or try to ping a server it cant connect to it.
i've tried DHCP and static ip/subnet/gateway/etc and neither work.
DHCP returns an error immediately, static ip takes a few secs but also
returns an error connecting. on DHCP, it's not giving me a valid IP
address for the device, and continually renewing it.
under the wi-fi connection settings, i've got the device connecting to
"the internet" and using the symbol PHOTON wireless lan driver (if
that's correct??).
using WM6.1 btw. can anyone help me??
ian.
Are you using the Fusion application on the device to configure the wireless
settings?
Thanks
