I have a Microsoft Wireless MultiMedia Keyboard (Prod ID
76642-545-5683983-30815) with mouse. After installation of software as per
instruction the mouse works but the keyboard does not. No keys work. The
device is recognized by the installed software and shows signal strength as
good. The keyboard also is recognized as installed by the system device
manager and is shown to working properly, which it is not. Operating under XP
Pro with latest service Pack installed. I’ve changed USB port and installed
Kensington version of software as they appear to have been the OEM for the
product. No success. Any advice is appreciated.

It's unlikely that you guys will get much response here. Note you have
posted to microsoft.public.POCKETPC.wireless. Not shouting, just emphasising
the pocket pc part of this group. You could try a more appropriate group,
that might have different sorts of folks that may have something useful to
offer, or try a couple of things.
1) go to Miscrosofts product page and make sure you have the latest drivers
and try again, or 2) see if there isn't a help line in the documentation, or
on the web. I have used MS hardware help before and they are actually quit
helpful. You may just have a bad unit. I've got one before. Under warranty,
they just sent me a new one.

PocketPCs don't use XP.

FWIW installling 3rd party drivers has a habbit of corrupting the M$ USB
drivers. I'd uninstall every thing USB and rescan or reboot so every thing
USB is reinstalled. Good Luck.
