Vaja makes good cases but return policy leaves much to be
desired.

watch out if you buy a case from vaja and want to return
it they give you 36 hours for it to get to them in sunny
florida. this means you have to fed-ex it or something
and spend lots of $$$$ on just sending it back that don't
work with me. i'm pissed.

wanted to spread the word, give feedback to vaja on this
crappy policy.

bought the "classic" case and don't like the amount of
protection it has- feels nice looks nice but if i dropped
the phone on it's side no protection. the case that came
with it protects better than that

anyway i don't have a gripe agains the cases, more towards
the return policy. their obviously trying to discourage
people from returnign stuff by making it hard and
expensive to return it

okay,

so when i bought a vaja case, i looked at the policies:
http://www.vajacases.com/policies/policies.html

it's on the main page, as well as other places.

seems pretty resonable?

PT- don't take thsi the wrong way, it's not aimed at you,
becuase what you do for this discussion group is totally
kick ass in my opinion and i think you're a great help to
PPC users.

BUT i am pissed at vaja

yes I did read the return policy but didn't see anywhere
where it said I had to return it in 36 hours (meaning that
it has to be at their doorstep by 36 hours) from the point
where I got the return approval.

they also gave me info about how it has to pass an
inspection or else they won't accept it as a return. I'm
fine with that, no problem.

but why the HELL do I then have to send it back in 36
hours? Why am I forced to pay 20-30$ (which is what I was
quoted) to return it 2nd day overnight to send it to
florida when I could send it regular UPS ground and it
could get there a few days later! IT STILL HAS TO PASS
THE INSPECTION AND I ACCEPT THAT, so to me the few extra
days makes no difference. if they have the inspection
policy set up, which i accept, what risk are they
incurring by letting me send it 6 day UPS ground?

it's hard to return a $50 case when I have to pay $30 to
return it.

i work in customer service and this is an example of NOT
practicing good customer service. anyone who is in
business knows that this type of policy will only piss me
off, and I certainly will tell people about it, when if
they were flexible I would have been a cheerleeder for
vaja and told everyone how great their service was.

if I missed the 36 hour rule somewhere then I'll admit I'm
a dumbass but I didn't see it in the return policy.

this is cool, no worries..

3 days seems different than what's posted on their site, that's why i
posted.

so let me make sure i get it:

-you have 30 days to return.
-but once you get the approval--you have 3 days to return it.
-then they inspect it.

if this isn't reflected in on the site (which it doesn't seem to be) then
that's not so great for them and you, the customer.

Maybe this means it must be 'postmarked' within 3 days
