I have an HP iPAQ rx3115 running Windows Mobile 2003 SE. Has anyone been
able to successfully sync the Windows 7 Media Player with this device? My
device shows up in Windows Media Player, but it won't let me set up sync and
it throws an error when it does try to sync (Media Player stops responding
for about 30 seconds, then throws the error message "Windows Media Player
encountered a problem while syncing the file to the device").

hi Steve,

I think Win 2003 SE and Win Vista are not compatible,
also I think this is worse for Win 7, but you can try to use dual boot
Win 7 and Win XP

hope this helps,
Carlos

if you are using Win 2000 or older version
then the problem could be that your WM Player version
is too old

Uh, Carlos, had you read the initial message you would have found out that
I'm using Windows *7*.

Since I have Professional, I'll try XP Mode and see if that works, even
though it doesn't support wtv files.
