Album Art on WMP10 Mobile

Himalaya running WMP 10 Mobile?
My folder heirachy is as follows and all folders have the relevent
'folder.jpg' for the artwork.
d:\music library\<artist>\<album>\<.mp3><folder.jpg>
I have removed all embedded artwork from my previous iTunes library (using
iTunes) and have used a 3rd party app
http://www.avsoft.nl/artfixer/default.htm to find high quality album art
(this took ages!).
I have checked that WMP10 is not using any embedded artwork and my MCE2005
machine displays only the new album art that I have downloaded.
When I sync to my 1GB SD\MMC card through either Activesync 4.0 or my card
reader, the album art is NOT transferred, whether I have embedded artwork
using WMP10 or not. If I manually transfer the 'folder.jpg' (or ANY .jpg for
that matter) the .jpg transferred IS displayed on my mobile device.
So why isnt it being synced automatically? It is supposed to isnt it???
I have also tried removing all artwork from WMP10 and allowing WMP10 to
download it's own artwork but the artwork still does not sync to my device.
Any ideas out there?

your music, or trying to do it via AS. AS must be up and connected, but you
need to use the sync function in Media Player to move the music and album
art.

I have tried both Activesync (unbelievably slow through 1.1 USB) which
transfers the music and ratings through the WMP10 sync function and also
manually using my card reader, which is *very* quick to transfer but ignores
ratings. Both methods refuse to copy album art though...
hmmmm
