This has nothing to do
"Re: ...automatically trigger Pocket MediaPlayer to update its library?"
but that's a good thing.

(An open reply, moved out of ppc general to here,
microsoft.public.pocketpc.multimedia, which
apparently few get to anymore)
Export implies non-english. If you have 26
letters in your alphabet, as in the American
Standard Code for Information Interchange,
ut'll work fine. It won't work for russian,
chinese (26 vs 6532, not counting names), or
klingon, for that matter.
For posterity, and before I forget, here's its
heritage on CE
iPlay (ipaq only)
iPlay/GT (general ppc)
iPlay/Net (client w/server)
jPlay (Jornada 720)
iRadio (iPlay/Net w/shoutcast stuff)
xRadio (single package for all)
(That's only though v2)
A very basic v3 handango-only offering
iPlay v4 (three-year run, all free updates...
iPlay v5 ...even had ppc server option)
iPlay v6 (the works, free from v5)
Zircon (new player, a 'v7'; wm5)
Phantasm 8 (free from v7)
Phantasm 9 (free from v7/v8)
PhantasmX (10)
PhantasmX2 (11) (free from X)
PhantasmX2 (2.1) (free from X/X2)
PhantasmX3 (12) (free from X and X2; wm6.5)
You won't find anything comparable, nothing
even in the same ballpark.
ATTENTION ALL READERS
Do not proceed beyond this point if you
are offended by reading about warez scum,
or the outing of warez scum, or if you or
anyone you know are in any way affiliated
with warez scum
You can find one early v1 warezed (the guy
even left his name in one of the text files).
A hacked up v4.8 (believe it or not, that was
an early v4). For those responsible for that,
google iFalleni, Fallen, "Vladimir Syrkine"
(the cracker) -- makes for thrilling reading.
Anyway, purported 'crack' downloads beyond
those two is guaranteed to be a trojan. Just
so you (all) know. There are quite a few.
