Album Art & Play Count

I have a media library that I maintain with WMP on my desktop.
Contained in my media library are album art files as well as Folder.jpg
files. However when I synchronize media to my PPC 6700 and play them
either via Windows Media Player 10 Mobile or Pocket Player I do not see
album art. If, however, I manually copy the appropriate Folder.jpg
using ActiveSync into the correct place on my PPC the album art is
displayed. Why doesn't WMP 11 on the desktop synchronize the album art?
Additionally I can see that Play Count is kept on the PPC such that if I play a song say twice the play count will be 2. However when synchronizing back to the Desktop this play count is not updated. Why not? I would be very useful to have the play count transfered (i.e. augmented such that if the play count on the desktop was say 3 and I played the song twice on my PPC, after synchronizing both the desktop and the PPC would have a play count of 5) in that as I listen to podcasts on my PPC the play count would go > 0 and my auto playlist would age these podcasts off the list as "already listened to".
