Zune software: "marketplace" menu item missing

My Zune software running on Windows XP, does not display the "marketplace"
menu item in the menu bar. It used to be in the top menu, but now it has
disappeared and that menu only shows 3 options: "collection device social"
So I had bought Microsoft Points but can't buy the music I want from Zune
Marketplace because I can't get to the marketplace! My Zune software is
version 2.5.447.0 and it's running in GDI mode (don't know what that means -
it's what is displayed in the window when I click Settings -> General ->
Information -> About Zune). Please help:
1). How can I get the "marketplace" menu option back? and
2). Why did it disappear?

Try setting your country region to United States in the Control Panel of your
XP. I had the same issue with Zune SW version 3.0 and this worked for me.
