Media player 11 and synch on Vista Ultimate

I can no longer synch my Dell Axim X51v with Mobile Center on my Laptop
running Vista Ultimate. Windows Media Player 11 want to control the synch. I
have ended and re-set the synch from Mobile Center with the same result. I do
not need to synch any music with media player. How can I eliminate media
player 11 from taking control of the synch????
