Hi !

I'm pretty sure that this subject has already been discussed but I'm
wondering if somebody has succeeded in configuring the sync of Tasks through
a XML File.

Thank you for your help.

Tasks are treated as a subfolder of email synchronization. If you're trying
to explicitly enable/disable syncing of tasks through client provisioning
xml, then you enabled/disable the Tasks folder under the FolderHierarchy
characteristic in the Sync CSP.

For documentation of the sync csp, see
http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-gb/library/aa455976.aspx

For an example of using the FolderHierarchy subcharacteristic, see
http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-gb/library/aa456216.aspx and replace
"UrgentMail" or "SavedStuff" with "Tasks". Note that, if the device is not
already enabled for email synchronization, the FolderHierarchy
subcharacteristic will do nothing - process a provisioning document that
enables that sync first before attempting to use FolderHierarchy.

Thank you for your help.

The Tasks sync is something not natural.
It's a shame that it can't be done like the email sync.

Anyway your answer was very useful, thanks again.
