Toshiba E800 wireless network difficulty

Hello,
I have just bought a 802.11 wireless modem that I use in a home network. The 3
PCs and Macs I have with wireless can talk to each other and have access to
the
internet, However my wireless E800 can not see anything but itself.
On the E800's screen the wireless icon shows that the modem is connected, but
when I run internet explorer I am told that "the page you are looking for,
can not be found".
I think this means that my network connection settings are not correct, but I
have tried, without success, to correct them. Can anyone help?
