I manage a fleet of PDA's of various types, all are Windows CE of one
version or another. When each device is connected, I want to sync the
ONLY the system time as all other things are managed through another
solution.

The problem: when I sync, it connects as guest. the connection is good,
and i can explore the device, but the time does not update, and most
other functions (sync, schedule, add server) are greyed out. There are
no partnerships in the folder:
<C:\Documents and Settings\wpmundjt\Application
Data\Microsoft\ActiveSync\Profiles>. And I cant access the options in
activesync to change the connection settings. Help?

Windows XP Professional. ActiveSync 4.1 and 4.2 (same issue). Various
Windows Mobile devices, all ARM.

Hi,

The option to sync time is available only when you establish a partnership.
Not available when you are connected under the guest mode since no
information is synchronized while connected as a guest. If you are
referring to a problem where you device is always connecting as a guest,
then suggest you refer to -

Hi,

I have the same problem but I haven´t been able to fix it.
How did you do?
I have checked that homepage about guestmode but I don´t really understand
what to do (my english is not the best).
