Further to the above, I have downloaded PSDK-FULL.3.cab two more times with
the same problem on the extraction.

Surprisingly, to me, the install of the PSDK works without error or
notification, even with the missing contents of PSDK-FULL.3.cab. I would have
thought that the install would check for missing files!

Hi Robert:

We are looking into it - just a quick question - when you state that you
used the full *bat*. I'm assuming you used the new exe that is at the
download site and not the old bat file right?

Melinda, thank you for your response.

Yes, I used the new sfx psdk-full.exe which contains the psdk-full.bat and
the extract.exe.

Hi Robert -

Weirdly one of our cabs is empty, that is why your installation works
anyway.

However the cab needs to be part of the installation to work - so feel free
to ignore the error and I will put a comment on the download page.

Sorry for the problem, thanks for letting us know!

Hi Melinda:

Viewing PSDK-FULL.3.cab in Windows Explorer shows it as empty but I do not
think that is correct.

According to my investigation, the file PSDK-FULL.3.cab

contains a broken .cab named 'Setup\PSDK-PSDK-common.1.cab'

PSDK-FULL.3.cab may contain more than the broken
'Setup\PSDK-PSDK-common.1.cab'

but my archiving utility, 7-Zip, can not read the PSDK-FULL.3.cab beyond
the broken .cab.

I have been trying to find a list of the files contained in
PSDK-PSDK-common.1.cab' but have not had any luck.

Thank you for your concern.

Hi Robert -

We had the testers review it - the cab is broken but does not affect the
installation unless you don't down-load it. You have a complete install,
it's really fine. I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but there is nothing in
the cab you need.
