running Windows 7 as client and ISC 4.1.1 as DHCPv6 server
I run in a problem regarding the preferred lifetime.
While Windows is running, renew of the IPv6 address works fine.
However if I shutdown Windows and keep the system power off
for the whole preferred lifetime range, Windows will not renew
the IPv6 address anymore on next startup.
E.g. preferred 7 days and valid 30 days, as recommended by RFC
Is this an Windows bug or the ISC DHCPv6 server?
Best regards
Ulrich
