Hi

Im using Win XP PRO UK

I am wondering why the windows installer is creating a directory on my root
drive

C:\CONFIG.MSI

It appears to store various temporary stuff. Well thats kinda ok, but i
thougt it should use the
"TempFolder" or c:\Windows\temp

My environment variable TEMP and TMP are set to "D:\temp\wintemp"

but still it throws data on my C: drive... why is that and how to change ?

Oh you're lucky you're just wondering. Me, QA entered a defect the
first time they saw config.msi :-}....
