I have a windows service which sends and receives data from sockets, insert
data to database and write logs to a text file. This service is
multithreaded service. The problem I am facing is that service stops
unextpectedly and when I browse the event viewer then the only thing I get
is the Event ID 7031 from Service Control Manager. Previously 7034 Event ID
was given by Service Control Manager then I tuned the text logging mechanism
and now performing the write operation in a single thread which reads data
from a Queue and writes sequentioly to the text file. After the tuning of
Logging Mechanism now I am not getting 7034 instead now it started to throw
7031. Any help or hint will be very much appreciated.
Thanks Alot
