Hi,

Is there any way to check programmatically if a com+ component is
active?
Either C++ or VB is ok. Thanks!

Randy

Yes.

You can get information on all running COM+ objects using a free component I
wrote: http://www.egilh.com/blog/articles/ComTracker.aspx. It lists all the
running com+ components, objects in call and and the average call time.

You can also build your own system in C++ using the Microsoft COM+
Instrumentation APIs to track all
com+ events (method call/return/exception, application activation/shutdown
etc).

Hi Egil,

Could you upload comtracker.dll file again - the download link seems to be broken?

Cheers,
