I have PictureIt 2002. I just loaded it onto my machine and have a couple of
questions. There are 2 cd discs. I installed the first one. The second one
says that it is "designs and art". There is no instruction telling me how to
use this disk and I don't see any artwork. I am looking to put a circular
Christmas light border around something and I cannot find any artwork for it.
Here are my questions.
1. How do I use the art disk and what is on it?
2. Where would I find holiday graphics using pictureit. I can't find any?
Thanks for the help

============================
Try this...open PI2002 and go to...
File / Get picture from / The gallery /
Find tab...

Enter a keyword for your search...

christmas lights

Press...Enter...

If you find something you can use...
double left click it and you should
be prompted to insert CD2.

Also, you can install the second
disk if you wish and you will not have
to insert the disk everytime you need
a clip.

Maybe if you go to Add-Remove Programs and choose
to uninstall PI2002 you will get an option to change your
installation...if not...you could uninstall the program and
when you reinstall choose the option that says it's for
Advanced Users. Then you can check the two boxes that
install all the files.

Hello Waycool,
The 2nd disk is for the templates in the program. If you were to go to PICK
A DESIGN and choose a template from there, you would be asked to insert that
disk for the template to come up.
There is a GALLERY that contains some graphics. To get to this you would go
to OPEN & EDIT, open something, if you are wanting to add something to a
photo or graphic, open that photo or graphic, other wise it doesn't matter.
Once you do this you would go to FILE/GET PICTURE FROM/GALLERY from there to
find Holiday things you would go to a few places. You can try...

BACKGROUNDS/HOLIDAYS
BORDER & FRAMES/HOLIDAY
CARTOONS/HOLIDAY
DIVIDERS & DECORATIONS/HOLIDAY
HIGH RESOLUTION PHOTOS/HOLIDAYS
HOLIDAYS and choose which one.
PHOTOGRAPHICS/HOLIDAYS (clicking on the one you are looking for)

You can also always go to the search engine at www.google.com and put in the
holiday you are wanting to find...they have a search for photos...you just
have to be careful of copyrights when using a search engine!
You might also take a look at my lessons on my Picture It/Digital Image site

Good Luck!
