There are two versions of 'Invisible Viewer'. The 'Free Edition' (FE)
you linked to below says it only supports two formats as you mentioned later, JPG and BMP

Did you try the 'fancier' shareware version http://www.bksoftlab.com/iv/iview.html ?
There didn't seem to be anything listed on what formats it supports that
I saw listed.
Note that in their FAQ it says it won't work on WinNT, Win2000 or "WinWE"
(which I assume is WinME <g>) http://www.bksoftlab.com/faq.html
and that it needs the Windows IE desktop update to work

FWIW, Thumbsplus (http://cerious.com can work with MIC and MIX files)
