You can't in OE. There are no settings in OE to control the headers for
printing. Although some OE print settings are taken from IE, the header
settings are not. They are hard coded into OE.

The only workaround is to copy/paste the message into a word processor
and print from there.

Select: Message | Forward As Attachment. Left click on the attachment
subject and drag in down to the IE icon on the Quick Launch Toolbar. Release
the mouse button and you'll get a page to print without the header
information.

An even better solution is to download OETool, (freeware). Select Open
message full screen and Ctrl+P will open your printer. This gives the best
results for printing an e-mail.

This must be a WIN XP problem, because I never had this issue with OE6 on my
notebook using Windows 2000 Professional. Are there any registry keys/values
I can change to eliminate the page & date from displaying. Seems like a big
hassle to copy/paste every email I want to print.

Even better would be to drag the message to an IE window (if that will work)
or otherwise, just drag the message to the desktop and rename it to give it
a mht file extension and then it will open in IE and he can print from
there.
