This happens when you copy and paste. As the pictures within the whole
document isn't sent. But they will if you save the pictures somewhere and
manually add them into the message. Pain in the butt if you got a lot of
pictures to send.

1. Plain Text just simply doesn't show the images. There isn't a box with
the red x in it.
2. Reading messages in Plain Text is a good idea; it can keep a lot of
malware from running. ALT-SHIFT-H or View menu will let you switch any Plain
Text message to HTML also.
The red x in a box always indicates that an expected image file can't be
found, for whatever reason.
