Odd: Outlook98 sending both text and HTML in same message

Hi:

It appears that when I send an email formatted as HTML Outlook also embeds
the plain text version. What I did was to use the web interface to look
at the mail server and when I looked at the email it had the HTML and the
Plain text in the email. First the text/plain and then the text/html

Any ideas on how to get the outlook 98 to not send the text along with the
HTML? Any other ideas?

As far as I am aware no - it is done to maintain some compatibility with
older mail clients that do not support HTML
