Public Calendar Folder

I've created public folders that are of type calendar (appointments) and
contacts. We have 4 areas around the country that synch up with these two
types of public folders. However, if someone enters in an appointment on a
public folder of that type, and then someone else opens the appointment and
goes to the Meeting Planner tab, it shows that person's name on it, not the
person who actually posted the appointment. Is this a bug, or some kind of
feature flaw?
