auto dial up

Hi All,

I'm running MS Outlook 97 on Win98. When I open Outlook, it automatically
tries to connect to send/receive e-mail. Is there any way I can prevent this
so I choose when it dials up?
Any help would be appreciated.

In OE> TOOLS> Options> General Tab> turn off send/receive messages at start-up.
