As a new user, who has used oulook express forever, I would like to use the
full program

My first stumbling block is that in Express I have a three separate
Identities, and in one I have at least two completely different e-mail
accounts.

With this arrangement I can easily keep e-mails separate, or combine them,
in a pretty fluid and easily understood way.

Openeing Outlook to to the same, I am faced with more limited options, on
the face of it. As I cannot believe that Outlook is more limiting than
Express, I assume that I am doing something wrong

To setup my mail, I used Tools/Services, and setup the Internet mail
service.

However, I cannot repeat that for different emial addresses / or even for
different phone numbers.

Can anyone help?

You've got to download & install the Internet Mail Enhancement Patch for
OL97:
http://office.microsoft.com/downloads/9798/outlimep.aspx

Alternately you could update to OL2002 which has a slew of features
including multiple account support (and support for the easy choosing of the
sending account)

Thanks Vince

Upgrading is the best option. I have an upgrade on something. It is on my
Office 2000 disk, but I find word 2000 is seriously worse than 97, slow,
does strange things, etc.

Still this is Micro$oft
