the Microsoft Exchange server, then telling me it cannot find it. Upon
pressing cancel my oputlook crashes. I am using the @home service for this,
please advise if anyone has had the same problem.

@Home doesn't use an Exchange server for email. To get Outlook to work w/
@Home, you just need the Internet Email service, Personal Folders, Outlook
Address Book, and Personal Address Books service.

How to check:
* Start | Settings | Control Panel and double click on the Mail Applet
* Highlight MS Exchange and select the Remove button
* Verify the services listed in the first paragraph are present.
* Configure the Internet Email service to your @Home account.
* OK out and close the Control Panel
* Start Outlook.

And just to let you know, all version of Outlook work w/ @home. (I'm a
customer of theirs. ;) )

Are you considering installing the Email Security Patch or Office 2000
Service Pack 2?
Read this page first and consider your choice carefully if you depend on
accessing specific attachments or have programs that need access to
Outlook's address book.
