I use Outlook 98 for my email, using Word 97 as the editor, and I can't send
email with an inserted picture. The picture shows up in the copy I have
sent to A sent mail folder, but the person receiving it doesn't get the
picture. Is there something I'm missing, or an option I may net to set? I
can receive pictures inserted in email someone else sends me.

Might be an RTF (Rich Text Format) issue. Is the person that receiving your
e-mail using Outlook? You might want to try attaching (not inserting) the
picture file.

It largely depends upon what kind of mail reader the other person is using.
It may well be that they have a mail reader that doesn't support HTML mail.

Why not just attach the picture to the message as an attachment and send it
that way?

I send it to myself too, and I can't get the picture in outlook either... I
can attach it without problem, but I'd like to send it inserted
