1) When replying to a email is there a way to only quote/prefix
the text that is selected in the original email ? Every
email package I've ever used has allowed this and I just can't
imagine that OutLook does not do this.
2) When replying to a email my signature is not automatically put
into the reply. Is there any way to setup OutLook to do this ?
I've looked all over the settings and I can find no way to do it.
3) When sending a email to a person in your address book is there
way to show the actual email address and not the persons name ?
Sometimes I like to copy and paste the email address from the "To"
area to use somewhere else.
Thats pretty much it for now, thanks...

I verified this with Outlook 2000 Client
Click in 'Tools' and then 'Options' then click on the 'Mail Format' Tab. On
the botton you will see 'Signature Pick' . Uncheck the box which says "Don't
use when reply or forwarding". FYI, I hope your using the 'Signature
Picker' to use for you 'Signature'.

I've seen what options are there, I wanted to know if there was any
way to only include the text you have selected in a reply/forward.
So I guess what your saying is the options I see are the options
I get. I kinda knew this was going to be the answer, but I just
could not beleive that a app as huge and feature rich as OL2K
would be so limited is something so basic.
And thanks for the answers to questions 2 & 3. I still wish OL2K
would show the email address and not the name of the person.
Any ways, thanks again...
With Outlook 2000, you do have the option of displaying your email addresses
as the actual email address instead of the familiar name. If you double
click the email address in the To: field, you'll get a dialog box that will
let you select the email addy instead of the familiar name as the Display
name.
