Help with Customer Manger /What is it?

I know this may be a dumb question, but I am a little confused at to what
customer manager is/or does in relation to managing my Outlook contact list.
I am using Outlook 2000. I have gone to the help section and can't seem to
find anything that explains it. I know that when I send a contact a letter
or message from the contact list I get this screen that asks me about
customer manager. I just keep canceling it.

This is a part of the Small Business Customer Manager that may have been
installed with Office Small Business Edition or a complete install of the
Office Premium Edition. It is a way of linking contact information with
business tracking programs that are also installed.

What exactly is the information that is requested each time? Depending on
the requested information, there are ways of disabling this prompt.
