We have received a .oft file and believe this to be an
Outlook template file. We cannot read it, open it, print
it.

Is there a way of making this accessible in either Word or
Excel 97/2000/XP?

We do not know the version of the originating Outlook.

Not that I know of. You need to open it using Outlook.

Thanks Patrick

We don't use Outlook, only OExpress.

The Royal Army sent my school a file - after
investigation it appeared to us to be an Outlook Form
Template which we just cannot read, hence the question.

I could install Outlook on this machine - but does it
interfere with Outlook express?

Best regards

Richard

It shouldn't interfere, no. In fact, you need Outlook Express installed for
certain features of Outlook to work properly.
