I have just installed Outlook 2000 in exchange of Outlook Express (OE5) and
Schedule+. When I try to send an e-mail I lack the "auto-complete" function
when typing the e-mail address. Outlook has an auto-check function, but this
is not as helpful as the auto-complete in OE.

Is it really tru that Microsoft has not included this useful function in
Outlook 2000?

It's true. Outlook doesn't do auto-complete. Some find the auto-resolution
feature more useful than autocomplete. If you enter part of a name or a
nickname then tab out of the field (or hit Alt-K [Check Names]), Outlook
will attempt to resolve the name against your address book. If it can't
it'll red underline it and you can right click on the name to manually
resolve it. Outlook will save the resolution for future use.

That is correct. No autocomplete in Outlook. Just the autocheck
function. However, you can associate partial names with a contact so
that typing something like Jo will resolve to Joe Blow.
