The other office applications have a Run method present in
their application object that lets you run a macro from
the code. I don't see this method for Outlook, is there
another way to do this or has this functionality been
completely removed by design?

A MyMacro macro in the ThisOutlookSession module can be run as
Application.MyMacro, but it's an unsupported method.
