I've tried changing some of the settings under
Tools/Accounts/Settings, such as making sure the
incoming/outgoing servers are the same. No luck.
Somebody please shed some light on this for me.

Hi Vince,
Very good........ look..at omegageek
A lot of people doesn't know the difference between
Outlook(OL) and Outlook Express (OE).
Good you made that clear.
A time ago I posted a question about encrypting messages
with certificates and OL2000.
Never got a reaction, probably just because of the mixing
mess between OL and OE in this newsgr

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A GOOD ANTIVIRUS PROGRAM.
Open Outlook Express.
Click on Tools and select Options.
Select the Security tab.
Remove the checkmark from the "Do not allow attachments to
be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus.
Click OK at bottom of window.
Close Outlook Express.
Open outlook Express, and the attachments can now accessed.

Apparently, it just doesn't seem to initiate. The only common thread I could
find between the support calls was that they are all running Outlook
Express.
(Apologies in advance to those who are unhappy about OE posts to this site,
but the thread was on it.)
regards,
Zak

I have checked the box '' Hang up after sending and receiving'' to ensure
that my internet connection is disconnected after accessing my mail but it
fails to disconnect.
Also when outlook express is open but offline and the ''send/receive'' box
is selected so I can go back on line the ''Dial up Connection'' box fails to
appear! I have to open Internet Explorer to access ''Dial up Connection''
Can anyone please help

Users have a habit of creating folders, does anybody know
of a batch file or method of refreshing so that only the
default outlook express files will remain.
We have a default dos batch file running for other
refreshes, if this is to be used how do we over come
spaces such as in Sent Items
I hope somebody can help
What are the steps to follow for this set up....
Thanks
Thanks
I followed Article 329570's instructions. However, the
Option "Do Not allow attachments to be saved or opened..."
is grayed out. How do I correct?
tools > Letters and Mailings > Mailmerge Wizard ...
Then a pane at the right of your screen will appear
choose from Letters - Envelopes - Labels - Directory
Click Next - Bottom Right of Screen
Select Starting Document
Click Next
Choose Select from Outlook Contacts
And so on
