Hi there:
Reading Outlook 98's Ads., it seems to me that Outlook 98 is being set
also as a full e-mail program!
So, what will it be of Outlook Express, an excellente help for e-mails?
I see no reason to migrate unless it is a superior software. For
instance, does Outlook 98 have autoresponder features, programmable
routines (e.g., recognize text and send proper replies accordingly),
etc?
Best regards,
Hector Espinoza

In article <6k9o5u$7...@bgtnsc02.worldnet.att.net>, aka...@worldnet.att.net says...

Spent yesterday installing OL98. What a mess! Damn thing took
over my machine, installed 80-100 MB of IE4, OL98 & OL express.
I was given the choice of where to put only 1 file. Nearly
everything was dumped into c:\windows. After all this OL98
wouldn't import my Lotus Organizer address book so OL98 was
pretty well useless to. Uninstall locked the machine forcing
a hard reset & win95 wouldn't run afterwards -- well it
started once.

While OL98 was on the system, I played with OL98 & OLxpress,
but if you've got previous versions of exchange & OL97 already
present, figuring out how to get this incoherent mess working
is way too difficult.

Yes, and yes. But also see http://www.slipstick.com/outlook98/missing.htm
for OE features that are not in OL98.
