Inbox Repair Tool fails to fix PST file - what to do?

I just had Outlook 2000 crash on me, so I ran the Inbox Repair Tool.
Intead of getting the problems fixed, the tool stopped with a fatal
error. What should I do to fix the PST file?

Might be your Outlook PST File is highly corrupted that's why SCANPST failed to fix the bug. You should move on any third party source because Inbox Repair Tool repairs header section and minor level corruptions. On the behalf of my personal experience, I would like to suggest Outlook Recovery Tool to repair PST file and fix the issue.
