Is it possible within 0utlook 2000 to place other items, eg. Notes, Tasks,
Contacts, Calendar items within a Mailfolder? I've tried to drag and drop an
item other than a mail item into a mail folder and every time a new email
message is created with the content of the note or task - which is not
exactly what I want...

I have a number of subfolders in my Outlook Folder list and ideally I would
like to have all my correspondence or activities related to a folder grouped
within that folder without having to search for it all over in Outlook...

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Pieter

I don't think so due to form type issues. You can try linking all the items
to the contact involved but the items can't live in the same folder...

Pieter,

I think you might be able to programmatically loop through an existing
folder, creating items in the new folder, thus getting around the item type
limitation when you drag and drop. I've been meaning to try this myself on
an application, will let you know what I find out.

Thanks Scott - it's really frustrating having to look for correspondence all
over the place instead of a single file...

Kind regards

Pieter
