I have a user, who is able to send email on behalf of her
Boss. But she does not want the email to go as "sent on
behalf of" . I have told her of a work around if she
leaves the From field blank, the email is sent/forwarded
as if from her. But she does not want to do that. Does
anyone know if this can be done?

Thanks
Sami

You said what she doesn't want, but didn't describe what she actually *does* want to see. --

Sue, thank you for your reply. She would only like to see
her name as the sender.

Then she should not mess with the From field at all. Sending with her own address is the default. No action needed to make it do otherwise.
