Could not recover pst file

I had tried the repair tool to fix the pst file. But after it finished scanning
phase 4, it show an error message. Is there any way could recover the pst file?

Have you tried running a ScanDisk on the machine also?

I did try the Scandisk. There are one more thing that I forgot to say; the pst
file size is 2.1GB.

Ah..... you might want to contact MS tech support for a patch that deals
with >2GB PST files.

You can easily recover all deleted PST file using PST recovery software. I utilized it to recover important mails that I deleted accidentally. This software helped me lot.
