I.E. 6 does not use specified outlook as default email
when sending page but outlook express.

I.E. asks outlook express is not you default email do you
wan to set it

I want to use outlook as specified in the programme
options but allways express comes up.

I saw once an error message which migh t or might not be
related saying tha t the comms add in pmailext.dll caused
severe problems to outlook ( see attached screen shot)

However outlook and IE works fine so far independently bu
t not together.

I use XP and office XP

any help is welcome.

If you start IE and select Tools | Internet Options | Program tab. Is
Microsoft Outlook set as your default client?

Have you tried starting Outlook 2002 one time with the /checkclient command
line switch?

Cheers,
/Neo

PS - These checks and changes should be made when you logon with local
administrator privileges. If you are in the power user or user group, the
necessary changes will not be made in the registry.
