Transfering Messages from Windows Live Mail to Outlook

I have a customer who is using Windows Live Mail (WLM).
He has 142 441 files that take 13.3Gb.
He keeps on loosing contacts everytime he quits WLM. In addition, He uses
the signature feature to preprogram replies to his emails. With WLM when you
reply, they all disappear and only the default signature remains. Finally,
everytime he starts WLM, it is very slow because it scans his 142 441 files
all the time.
So I recommended to use Outlook. However, it is limited to 2Gb when we try
to import data from WLM.
Can you recommend a solution?

The transfert is done on the same PC. We are trying to transfer to Outlook
2007 using default parameters. Is this the unicode data file format? We get a
.pst data file.

Based on the information above, we confirm that this pst file is limited to
2Gb.
We tried transfering all messages and each folder separately. The result is
the same.
It stops at 2Gb and we have no control over this.

This process moves your Windows Live Mail directly into your Outlook mail files.
1. Open Microsoft Outlook.
2. Open Windows Live Mail.
3. In the Windows Live Mail window, click the File button and select Export and then select Email messages.
4. Select Microsoft Exchange as the format and then click Next.
5. You will see a message that all email will be exported to Microsoft Outlook or Microsoft Exchange, click Ok to continue.
6. You can export all email folders or select the appropriate folders that you want to export by using the Select folders option.
7. After you select the appropriate option, click OK and wait for the export process to be completed.
8. When the Export Complete dialog box appears, click Finish.

Note: This process can take some time, depending on the number of messages that you are exporting.
