I had Outlook 03 for my email. I got a new computer (Vista) with winmail. I
found that I had to download the free trial of outlook 07 in order to import
my messages from the pst backup. But after I have done this the import/export
option is not available to me. What am I supposed to do to get my old emails
from Outlook 03 into winmail? I have the 03 disc for outlook but I am told it
wont run on vista...HELP

Winmail is a replacement of Outlook Express, not Outlook.

According to this:
<http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Windows/en-US/Help/26079ffc-a56f-46aa-b1e8-fcfc9f60be4b1033.mspx>
WIndows Mail can import Outlook messages.

Outlook 2003 does, indeed, run on Vista:

http://www.outlook-tips.net/howto/vista.htm
Does Outlook work on Vista?

Re-install Outlook 2003. DO NOT import your backup .PST, just reconnect it:

http://www.slipstick.com/config/movepst.htm
To move a Personal Folders .pst file

Reconnect your old Outlook data file

Once that's done, you should be able to move your messages from Outlook to
WM. In as much as Outlook 2003 runs fine and is supported on Vista, if
you're happy with it, you may not need to use WM at all.
